WE WOULD LOVE FOR YOU JOIN US AT THE FARM FOR OUR LATEST LOCAL WORKSHOP, WITH CERTIFIED HOLISTIC NUTRITIONIST, SHELLEY VAN WYK.
Shelley will walk us through the process of botanically dying fabric with items found in nature. Though this process, you will learn how to mordant fabric down to its raw state, treat with a tannin to help absorb the color and take part in creating the natural dyes. You will be provided with a set of organic cotton napkins and a handkerchief, to practice the process, as well as your own jar of natural botanical dye to use at home. Botanical colors provide natural dyes that are sustainable and environmentally friendly!
